Another incident of shootout has happened in Bhatpara area of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. In Fingpara area of Ward No. 35 of Bhatpada Municipality, on Sunday afternoon, the local people heard the sound of firing from the side of a brick-kiln. When people ran after hearing the sound of gunshot, they saw that the dead body of a young man was lying in an empty space next to Ambrose Brickyard. A gun is lying next to him.
The information was immediately given to Bhatpara police station. Police went to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Bhatpara Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. According to police sources, the name of the deceased youth is Arvind Prasad, age 36. A paper and a cartridge were found in his pocket. However, the police has not said anything about whether the paper is a suicide note or something else.
Neighbors of the deceased youth told that he had a clothing business in Metiyaburj area and his shop was closed for the last three months. Although the local people believe that the young man has committed suicide.
The police is not ruling out the possibility that someone brought him in public and shot him and then fled. In such a situation, business enmity can also become the reason for murder. Although the police estimated that the clue can be found only after thoroughly examining the paper recovered from the pocket of the deceased.
